TONY GRANT

Tony Grant

Tony’s practice is primarily transactional, including buying and selling companies and businesses, investment transactions, joint ventures, shareholder agreements, international transactions, media transactions and sports law.

Tony trained and spent his early qualification years at Allen & Overy and was then at Denton Wilde Sapte (now Dentons) for 24 years, 12 years of which were spent in Hong Kong where he was senior partner and in charge of its offices in the Far East. He was subsequently head of that firm’s corporate department in London and then head of its TMT (technology, media and telecoms) department. He left in 2004 and joined up with Jonathan Dawe to form Grant Dawe in 2006.

Testimonials

I have known Tony Grant for more than two decades and have benefited from his wisdom and counsel, not only in the UK but overseas as well. Hiring a solicitor who is a good draftsman, is simple. Finding an individual, who is insightful; a strategic thinker, and one who gives honest and direct advice, is extraordinarily difficult. Add in the essential attribute – integrity – and Tony is one of the best solicitors that I have ever worked with, and I have done business in sixty countries!

“Tony acted for me when I sold my company; he provided excellent advice and in particular guided me to focus on certain more critical areas while also suggesting what was less important - he was of course absolutely right!
