Drafting standard terms and conditions for suppliers, including software licence agreements, support and maintenance agreements, teaming agreements, distribution and VAR agreements, confidentiality agreements

Acting as sole lawyer for the prime contractor in relation to the drafting and negotiation of a government contract for provision of the 2011 Scottish Census. Drafted and negotiated numerous sub-contracts relating to the main agreement

Advising the supplier in relation to major contracts for the provision of information management software systems and associated support and maintenance across most local government sectors including health, education, children’s services and social care

Advising in relation to partner agreements with other IT vendors including IBM, Oracle, Fujitsu, CSC and EDS

Advising in relation to a consultancy framework agreement for a major online betting company

Advising the supplier in relation to bespoke software development agreements with numerous clients within the banking sector

Advising a sub-contractor in relation to the national programme for IT in the NHS (NPfIT), negotiating with a prime contractor for and on their behalf

International experience includes advising, drafting and negotiating contracts with companies in Russia, Lithuania, Romania, France, Germany and Egypt

Advising in relation to becoming a preferred supplier of OGC buying solutions and concluding the SAS framework and catalist agreements for the client

Drafting and negotiating agreements in relation to the manufacture and provision of Sky cards and subscriber management systems and licensing of associated technology to set-top box manufacturers for NDS Limited
