Welcome to Grant Dawe, a corporate and commercial law firm which focuses on providing high-quality, pragmatic and effective legal advice at competitive prices.

We are based in London with an affiliated office in Dublin. We have strong connections with law firms throughout Europe and the USA.

The firm was founded in 2006 by Tony Grant and Jonathan Dawe, who had previously worked as corporate lawyers in a major London-based international law firm. Both have worked overseas for that firm (Tony in the Far East and Jonathan in the Middle East).

The firm has developed from its core corporate base to a more broadly-based commercial practice (with expertise in media, sport, IT, telecoms and employment) and also with a litigation capability.

The firm was previously known as HRO Grant Dawe LLP, the name recognising the association with the US law firm, Holme Roberts & Owen (HRO). HRO has recently merged into a large US law firm. We chose not to join the merged firm, believing a large firm environment would not benefit our practice or our clients. Consequently, we have changed the name of the firm back to Grant Dawe LLP.
